Major fleet sales manager boosts Hendy Group profile

South coast automotive firm the Hendy Group is capitalising on green shoots in the fleet sales market with the appointment of a dedicated major fleet sales manager.

Andrew Dobbins, who lives in Bournemouth, has more than 30 years experience in the motoring sector and has a remit to expand the group’s customer base both along the south coast and beyond.

Hendy Group managing director Paul Hendy said that Andrew’s expertise throughout the country will help the group attract business from larger fleet customers with a focus on both cars and commercial vehicles.

“The recent addition of three new Honda dealerships to our existing Ford, Mazda, Kia and Honda outlets make this a good time to expand the fleet sales operation, said Mr Hendy. “We have built up a successful fleet sales business along the south coast with a loyal customer base and want to build on these foundations and develop the car and commercial vehicle fleet business.’’

Andrew who has three grown up children said he was relishing the opportunity to work with the Hendy Group and the chance to develop new business. “The group has an extremely good reputation in the retail and fleet sales sectors and I’m really looking forward to introducing more fleet customers to the Hendy way of motoring.’’

The Hendy Group, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year employs more than 800 people in car, truck and van dealerships throughout the south and south west with outlets from Cornwall to Chichester.
