The Stralis range offers a choice of 3 engines (8,10 and 13 litres), 3 cabs (Active Day, Active Time and Active Space) and 3 cab heights (low roof, medium roof and high roof), and envisages: special versions: low body (Low Tractor), with double reduction rear axles (HR) and reinforced chassis for more demanding applications (RR):

• 6x2 tractor with a steered central axle
• 4.2 conventional trucks with steer and air suspension
• 6x2 trucks with single or twinned wheel third axle, lifting, fixed or steering - or a steering axle in a central position, with air suspension at the rear or all round.
• 6x4 tractors and trucks.

All version can be fitted with numerous types of suspension, including full air suspension that adapts the vehicle to the height required for distribution missions or intermodal transport. The Stralis can also be personalised by a wide range of different wheelbase for different types of bodywork, manual, automated and automatic gearboxes, and rear axle ratios chosen for an optimal trade-off between speed and tractive effort.
