Do we need to pay a deposit?

A deposit of £350 is requested for all cars, £500 for minibuses and £750 for a 7.5 tonne box van or larger. The deposit is fully refundable in the safe return of the vehicle within the designated period.

What range and age of vehicle do you hire?

We are a Main Ford Dealer so the majority of our fleet are Fords, however we have other franchise models available including Jaguar. Vehicles are predominantly less than three months old.

What is the cost and what does this include?

Prices are on request for monthly rental. All prices stated include VAT, insurance and full RAC breakdown cover.

Do you need to see my driving licence?

A driving license must be produced on every hire. If you have the new style driving license you will need to produce both parts. We cannot accept photocopies of any part of the license. Failure to produce a valid license will result in being refused hire of the vehicle.

Do you have any restrictions on age and experience?

Our insurance covers from 21 to 70 years of age, special clearance can be obtained to cover up to 75 years of age. This will incur an additional charge.

Is there mileage restriction?

Prices include unlimited mileage. (except on Jaguar rental)

Can I take the vehicle abroad?

We can allow our vehicles abroad and we would supply all the relevant paperwork to cover the vehicle abroad. However there is an extra surcharge for taking the vehicle out of the country. Please contact us for further information.

Do you offer a breakdown recovery service for the UK and abroad?

We offer full RAC cover in the UK and full European cover abroad.

Do you offer a free delivery and collection service?

We can offer free delivery and collection within a 10 mile radius of our branches.

Unfortunately we can't offer one way hires at this time.

What is the standard hire period?

The daily hire period is 24 hours, and a week is 5 times the daily hire period.

What is DW?

DW stands for Damage Waiver. This is supplied automatically within the price of hiring a vehicle and reduces the excess policy of the vehicle.

I haven't got a clean license can I still hire?

For those under 24 a full clean drivers license is required. Over 24 certain minor endorsements can be accommodated. All hirers are qualified individually and are accepted subject to status.

What identification do I need to bring with me?

Two forms of identification are required in addition to the drivers license. The accepted forms of ID are passport, utility bill or bank statement, rent book etc.
