Ford fast-forward with product surge and improved profit
Ford has boosted its efforts to transform the brand's image in Europe, with a 2016 product surge expected to energise and revitalise the marque's reputation, building a vibrant and sustainably profitable business in the process.
The plan utilises the brand's return to profit in 2015, with increased targets being set for this year - Ford wants to achieve higher profit and pre-tax operating margin for 2016, plus 6 - 8% operating margin looking further forward.
2016 will see the launch of seven new and refreshed vehicles, including the 350PS Focus RS, plus SUVs in the form of the dynamic Kuga and new Edge, ready to take Ford enthusiasts to new heights. These exciting new products, which will all be on sale at Hendy, will strengthen the Ford offering and expand the available selection.
Ford also hopes to improve its brand image through best-in-class dealer experience and increased experiential marketing, two key aspects that directly engage with customers and create a closer bond with the brand.
This refocus on project strategy will help Ford to develop in the right direction, focusing on new models and the future as well as forging a stronger affinity between the brand and its customers.
