The Ford KA+ range is expanding | June 2018

Revealed earlier this year, Ford have increased their KA+ line-up by adding both a diesel engine option and an Active version, allowing you to showcase your adventurous side. The exterior design has been tweaked to include larger headlights and a new front grille with a chrome surround to show off its new and improved personality.

Once you step inside you will also be greeted by a more refined cabin - the cleaner design of the dashboard ensures more space for the front passengers, whereas the 6.5-inch touchscreen integrated into the centre console boasts Ford's amazing SYNC 3 infotainment technology, so you can easily and safely use all the elements of your phone while on the move thanks to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

The new diesel engine joins a 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol unit, which replaces the old car's 1.2 Duratec to improve the amount of torque and efficiency levels of the vehicle. Both the diesel and petrol options are equipped with start-stop technology and also comply with Euro 6 emissions regulations.

To give the Active version more of an edge, it gains plastic wheel arch covers, 15-inch wheels and roof racks as standard. To enhance its off-road ability, the model's suspension has been re-tuned to give all passengers a smoother ride - this couples with an increased ride height to provide a more comfortable journey.

Ford have also fitted a larger front anti-roll bar and active rollover protection technology, which works with the car's electronic stability control to reduce the chance of rolling over when the car is carrying heavy loads on the roof.
