Cyclists taking part in the 2019 Hendy Wessex Heartbeat Cycle Sportive raised in excess of £6,500 for the charity.
The event, which took place on 8th September, offered cyclists a 40-mile or 70-mile route in the Test Valley, with a new 10-mile ride for families introduced this year.
Hendy Group was the official sponsor of the event and entered a team of 14 riders from across its Sales and Service departments, while its Brand Ambassador and Olympic Gold Medallist, Dani Rowe, officially started the Sportive and saw the cyclists off the line.
Hendy Commercial Director Mark Busby said: "To raise more than £6,500 is a wonderful achievement and we are delighted to have been able to support the Cycle Sportive in its fourth year.
"Wessex Heartbeat provides valuable help to those who need it. This event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together to raise money and ensure the team continues to deliver high-quality care to all of their patients. We extend our thanks to everyone who took part."
Events and Community Fundraising Manager for Wessex Heartbeat, Tina Richardson, added: "Thank you to Hendy for helping us to raise awareness of heart disease within the cycling community, the importance of keeping active and enjoying the great outdoors."
