Hendy has honoured long-serving staff at its annual 25 Year Club event, which recognises the growing number of loyal employees within the company.
This year 14 members of staff join the prestigious 25 Year Club, which now has 155 members. "We are delighted that so many people choose to stay with Hendy for many years," said Chief Executive Paul Hendy. "The dedication and loyalty of these members of staff is truly remarkable, and our annual event is a thank you to our 25 Year Club members and their partners.
This year Hendy took the staff and their partners to the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire where activities ranged from cocktail making to a falconry experience, woodland adventure and croquet, followed by a gala dinner. While the 25 Year Club is open to all employees who have been with the company for more than 25 years it boasts 19 employees who have completed more than 40 years' service.
Good training and benefits, personal development prospects and the fact it is family-run are some of the factors the business believes drive its high staff retention. The new club members this year include New Car Sales Director Paul Murrells who works across the Group, Service Technicians Richard Allen, Donald Kent and James Cheetham and Parts Business Account Manager Helen Ship.
Also welcomed into the club are Matthew Robinson who is Kia Assistant New Sales Manager, Parts Manager Colin Norrell, Director Andrew Stevenson, Area Parts Manager Tim Fry, Parts Administration Team Leader David Martin, Systems and Resources Director John Hendy, Parts Driver Martin Phillips and Sales Administrators Pauline Allen and Andrew Packer.
Paul Hendy added: "We believe our customers get the very best service from a happy and motivated team. That's exactly what we've achieved, and we're delighted that the 25 Year Club is quickly becoming the least exclusive club!" To find out about latest roles with the company, visit www.hendy.co.uk
