If it’s pure, unapologetic muscle you’re looking for, look no further. The squat, arrow-like silhouette of the Nissan GT-R – the revolutionary model that first took the world by storm in 2007 – just screams speed.
And its engine’s monstrous 570ps with 637Nm of torque duly delivers on the promise. If only supercar performance will do, you can upgrade that to the 600ps NISMO edition, engineered with carbon fibre wherever possible to strip its weight to the bare minimum and give it genuine track credentials. Incredibly, all GTR ’19 models are now also Euro 6 compliant for exhaust emissions.
Despite its raw power, the GT-R’s interior is far from spartan – featuring all-leather seats, door sides, dash and instrument panel. All models are now equipped with Apple CarPlay and an eight-inch touchscreen with integrated nav and audio controls.
