Suzuki tops the WhatCar? 2018 Reliability survey

The 2018 What Car? Reliability Survey results have been published, featuring some great news for Suzuki.

The comprehensive survey measures a total of 159 different models across 31 brands, asking What Car? readers and drivers of each vehicle for their experience of ownership after the first year up until their fourth year. Topping the leagues, Suzuki registered an impressive score of 97.7% after the first year of ownership and 88.4% after four years to stay within the top five manufacturers.

The survey also highlights individual models across the range, with the Suzuki S-Cross emerging as a top performer. Owners of the vehicle reported 100% reliability, with no faults with their vehicle recorded during this period.

Steve Huntingford, Editor of WhatCar? Magazine noted this achievement, stating: "Not a single S-Cross caused its owner any trouble, making this not only one of our favourite budget small SUV's but also the class's most reliable car. Many owners told us the thing they like best about their S-Cross is its durability."

With the spotlight on the S-Cross, this capable crossover comes with a choice of two petrol engine sizes - 1.0 litre or a 1.4 litre Boosterjet - and is not only reliable but good value, with prices starting from £14,999.
