We want to reassure you that we are working with Toyota UK and following government advice to help maintain the safety of our customers and colleagues at all times during your dealership visit.

To help you prepare you for your visit, please read the step by step guide below. If you have any questions about your visit, please contact your local Hendy Toyota dealer who will be able to help.


Help us to limit the number of people in our dealership by booking an appointment in advance.

Only visit if you are well and no one in your household is self-isolating with symptoms. Contact us if you need to rearrange your appointment. Please visit alone, or with just one other person from your household. Aim to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. If you don't have an appointment, please contact our team to arrange one. Empty your car and clean it to a reasonable standard, so we can work on it safely, and clean it effectively before handing it back to you. Bring a means of paying by card or contactless. We can't accept cash payments at this time.


Our host will welcome you and make sure you are looked after.

Wait by the sign just inside the entrance. If there's a customer already there, please wait at a safe distance until they have moved. Follow our team's guidance on what to do and where to go. They are working to ensure your safety, and that of everyone in the dealership. Use the hand sanitiser we have made available on arrival, throughout your visit and when you leave. If dropping off your vehicle, please put your keys in the secure box provided.


Your experience will be a little different to usual.

Keep your distance. Maintain the 2 metre distancing rule at all times. Our floor markings and signs will help you do this. We will be sanitising all surfaces, keys and vehicles between every use. We may not be able to offer refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own. If waiting for a service, bring your own reading material or use our free Wi-Fi as we don't have any magazines. We won't have brochures on display, but ask a member of our team if you would like one.


We'll hand over your vehicle and finalise any documentation electronically.

We will thoroughly sanitise your vehicle and keys before returning them to you. We'll provide documents to you in electronic form, to avoid the need to handle paperwork. We'll ask you to pay by credit or debit card, or bank transfer, to avoid the need to handle cash. We know you sometimes have questions once you're home. Please don't hesitate to contact your local Hendy dealership who will be happy to help.
