Ford Contract Hire

An alternative to vehicle ownership, Ford Contract Hire involves a low capital outlay with fixed rentals and no vehicle disposal worries at the end of the agreement.

Features and Benefits:

  • Minimal capital outlay is typically three monthly rentals
  • Fixed rentals to assist cash flow and budgeting
  • Rentals are tax-allowable
  • Additional line of credit for your business
  • There are no part-exchange or disposal issues - the vehicle is returned at the end of the agreement
  • It includes Road Fund Licence is included for the term of the agreement
  • Vehicle breakdown cover for UK and European travel
  • Free replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours in the event of a breakdown attended by the AA if the vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside
  • It's offered with optional maintenance and servicing packages (at an additional cost)
  • Ford Fleet Accident Management is included, which reduces the time that drivers and vehicles are off the road.

How does it work?

Ford Contract Hire is a fixed-term operating lease. You simply make an initial payment followed by fixed monthly rentals for the duration of the agreement.

  • Select the Ford Commercial Vehicle you want
  • Choose the hire period that's right for you and your business (between 24 and 60 months)
  • Choose your maintenance option
  • Choose your annual mileage
  • Hendy Ford will calculate your initial payment and fixed monthly rental
  • At the end of the agreement, you simply return the vehicle to us, take out a new Ford Contract Hire agreement and collect the latest model*.

Ford Finance Lease

A lease plan for commercial vehicle customers, where you sell the vehicle at the end of the agreement and any sales proceeds are returned to you. A final balloon payment option is also available.

  • Fixed repayments to assist cash flow and budgeting
  • Tax and VAT advantages may be available
  • Additional line of credit for your business
  • Reduce your regular rentals by choosing the Ford Finance Lease with balloon option
  • No excess mileage or wear and tear costs
  • Ford Fleet Accident Management is included, which reduces the time that vehicles are off the road.

How does it work?

  • Select the Ford commercial vehicle you want
  • Choose the hire period that's right for you and your business (between 24 and 60 months)
  • Hendy Ford will calculate your initial payment and fixed monthly rental
  • At the end of the agreement you are responsible for selling the vehicle on behalf of Ford Lease by choosing one of the following options:
  • Sell the vehicle on behalf of Ford Lease to a third party
  • Agree a part-exchange price with Hendy Ford and we'll purchase the vehicle from Ford Lease
  • Alternatively, you may extend the agreement into a secondary period by paying a nominal peppercorn rental of £100 + VAT per year
  • If you have taken Ford Finance Lease with a balloon option, you must settle the balloon amount with Ford Lease at the end of the primary term
  • Ford Lease will return 100% of sale proceeds to you, less any fees associated with the vehicle sale.

Ford Acquire

Ford Acquire offers traditional and convenient financing for your commercial vehicle. Comprising deposits with regular payments, your business owns the vehicle at the end, and a final balloon payment option is also available.

Features and Benefits:

  • This is a traditional form of vehicle financing
  • The interest rate is fixed for the loan duration
  • Fixed regular payments to suit your business needs
  • A choice of repayment periods and deposit levels
  • At the end of the agreement assuming all payments have been made, including the Purchase Fee, your business owns the vehicle
  • As owners of the vehicle, your business retains any profit from the sale of the vehicle
  • Writing down allowances may be available
  • Customers may reduce their regular payments by choosing the Ford Acquire with balloon option
  • The balloon is based on the mileage band and contract terms chosen by you at the start of the agreement. The amount is deferred until the end of your agreement when you're required to pay the balloon amount as your final payment.

How does it work?

Ford Acquire is a fixed-term hire purchase plan.

  • Select the Ford commercial vehicle you want
  • Choose your deposit* and your preferred repayment period
  • Hendy Ford will be able to provide you with an instant quotation showing your regular payments, which are based on the amount financed plus interest and the Finance Facility Fee
  • Once you are happy with your quote, Hendy Ford will submit your application to Ford Credit
  • When the finance documentation is complete, you can drive away in your new Ford commercial vehicle
  • At the end of the agreement the vehicle belongs to your business, assuming all payments and the Purchase Fee have been made
  • If you have taken the Ford Acquire with balloon option, your final payment will be the balloon amount. The vehicle will belong to your business once all payments have been made, including the final balloon payment and the Purchase Fee.

* VAT-registered Commercial Vehicle customers must pay the VAT amount in full with the deposit.

Ford Contract Hire with Maintenance

Ford Contract Hire with Maintenance offers new and used vehicles up to 12 months old for Business users only. At the end of the agreement, you simply return the vehicle to Ford Lease, take out a new Ford Contract Hire agreement and collect the latest model. Further costs may apply subject to mileage and condition, and you will not own the vehicle at the end of the agreement.

  • Minimal capital outlay - typically three monthly rentals
  • Fixed monthly rentals to assist cash-flow and budgeting
  • Rentals are tax allowable
  • Additional line of credit for your business
  • No part exchange or disposal issues - the vehicle is returned at the end of the agreement

How does it work?

Your fixed monthly rental will depend on the following:

  • Agreement length - choose from 24 to 48-month terms (60-month available for commercial vehicles)
  • Annual mileage
  • The advance rental amount
  • The Ford vehicle you want to drive.

Adding a service, maintenance and repair plan to your Ford Contract Hire rental covers your vehicle for:

  • Routine servicing
  • Maintenance and repairs
  • Tyre repair and replacement. Upgrades and winter tyres excluded
  • Exhausts
  • Batteries
  • MOT tests (where applicable).
