Online Reservation Terms & Conditions

Reserving a Used Vehicle Online:

  1. Used vehicles listed on hendy.co.uk are available to reserve online. Online reservations can be made by payment of a £99 reservation fee via a secure online transaction facility.

  2. On receipt of your reservation fee, the vehicle will be reserved* for either 3 working days or until an order has been confirmed, whichever occurs first.

  1. When a reservation has been completed successfully, the vehicle concerned will show as “reserved” on our website.

  1. You will be contacted by a member of our sales team within 24 hours from receipt of reservation fee. They will then take you through the purchase process and will be able to discuss your requirements with you in full.

  1. Should you proceed with the purchase; your reservation fee will be used towards the balance of the vehicle meaning you will pay the agreed purchase price less £99.

  1. By accepting a reservation, Hendy agree to reserve the vehicle for 3 working days or until an order is confirmed, whichever occurs first. However, vehicle reservation is not an acceptance of a customer offer to purchase goods. Offers are only accepted once an order confirmation has been issued.


Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Vehicle reservations can be cancelled by you at any time within the 3-day reservation period. To cancel your reservation, you will need to contact the dealership with whom you have reserved the vehicle. Should you choose to cancel the reservation, you will receive a full refund of the £99 fee to the originating payment card. We will process the refund of your payment within 3 working days, although please note that it may take up to 14 days for Stripe (the online payment provider) to return the funds to your account.

 
Terms and Conditions of Online Reservation:

By activating the “Reserve Online” function, your payment is a reservation fee only and does not constitute a deposit or distance contract within the meaning of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The Reserve Online facility is only available to UK residents.

*Hendy Group will note your interest in the vehicle but cannot guarantee that the vehicle has not been sold prior to the receipt of this fee. In the event that the vehicle is no longer available for sale, the reservation will be cancelled and your reservation fee will be refunded in full. Our team will always attempt to find a similar vehicle and will contact you by telephone to discuss your requirements.
