Kia Picanto named Best Value Car winner at the WhatCar? Car of the Year Awards | January 2020

Here at Hendy Kia, we were thrilled to see the Picanto named overall winner in its category at the prestigious What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2020.

Kia had a successful night at the consumer motoring magazine's 43rd annual awards, held at Grosvenor House, London, with the brand being highly commended in two prize groups.

For the second year in a row, the Kia Picanto won the Best Value Car category

Praised for its space, performance and comfort, the Picanto remains value for money. What Car? complimented the 1.25-litre engine and automatic emergency braking as standard, which is a feature that often comes as a paid extra. It won the £12,000 - £14,000 price bracket and beat tough competition to take the category overall.

Meanwhile, the Kia e-Niro 4 won the More Than £35,000 price bracket in the Best Small Electric category. What Car? took the vehicle on a range test where it managed an impressive 253 miles, and with space for five people and smooth handling when motorway driving, it's easy to see why it's rated so highly.
