Here at Hendy Kia, we were thrilled to see the Picanto named overall winner in its category at the prestigious What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2020.

Kia had a successful night at the consumer motoring magazine's 43rd annual awards, held at Grosvenor House, London, with the brand being highly commended in two prize groups.

For the second year in a row, the Kia Picanto won the Best Value Car category Praised for its space, performance and comfort, the Picanto remains value for money. What Car? complimented the 1.25-litre engine and automatic emergency braking as standard, which is a feature that often comes as a paid extra. It won the £12,000 - £14,000 price bracket and beat tough competition to take the category overall.

Meanwhile, the Kia e-Niro 4 won the More Than £35,000 price bracket in the Best Small Electric category. What Car? took the vehicle on a range test where it managed an impressive 253 miles, and with space for five people and smooth handling when motorway driving, it's easy to see why it's rated so highly.
