A brilliant start for Hendy Group’s new Nissan dealership

Nissan has opened a new sustainable dealership in Hampshire and has created many new opportunities and made a significant impact since opening its doors.

Hendy Nissan Southampton sports a contemporary high-end showroom and an ideally situated workshop.

After a multi-million-pound investment from Hendy Group, the new dealership was able to open in the latter part of last year. As a result, Nissan is now represented by Hendy in four key areas across the south of England.

There was a key visit from the Managing Director of Nissan GB, Andrew Humberstone, and the Network Development and Customer Quality Director, Csaba Vincze. They met up with Hendy Group CEO Paul Hendy and the company’s Nissan Brand Manager, Paul Hughes.

The dealership building reaches excellent sustainability standards and is equipped with solar panels, electric vehicle charging points and ground-source heat pumps – all part of Hendy’s positive and progressive work to minimise their carbon footprint.

The establishment warmly welcomes visitors and has a fantastic team of hosting staff ready to receive customers on arrival as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and refreshments available. Hendy Nissan Southampton’s care for people is also exemplified in the way they provide a clean, proficient and enjoyable working environment for their employees.

The expansive showroom has incredible display space to showcase Nissan’s award-winning models, including the 100% electric LEAF and ARIYA and best-selling crossovers Juke and Qashqai.

Paul also went on to thank Eastleigh Borough Council, who he said have been ‘brilliant to work with’ during the design and build process. Extremely busy

Paul notes that the site’s innovative and well-equipped workshop was highly impressive and has been extremely busy since it opened.

He said: “We’ve settled in really well. We’ve seen good footfall already and the number of enquiries is growing all the time, so we are feeling super-positive about the future.”

Hendy also operates Nissan dealerships in Crawley, West Sussex; Bournemouth, Dorset; and Salisbury, Wiltshire.
