If you’re thinking of buying a Nissan Qashqai, then buckle up for some exciting news! Nissan have just unveiled the latest iteration of this iconic crossover, with a fresh facelift, cutting-edge tech and new safety features. In our latest blog, the Hendy team tell you everything you need to know!

Raising the bar

Over 350,000 third-gen Qashqai models have hit European roads over the last three years, setting the bar high for the new model. Indeed, its pioneering predecessor still has a firm hold on the sales charts as the UK’s best-seller in 2022 and the runner-up in 2023.

The challenge then was to keep everything drivers love about the Qashqai and turn it up a notch with sleek design upgrades. But that’s not all – with cutting-edge technology enhancements, advanced safety features and eco-friendly innovations, Nissan continues to pave the way towards a more connected and sustainable driving future.

Samurai style

The first thing you’ll notice about this new-look urban crossover is the revamped front grille. Drawing inspiration from the patterns of ancient Japanese armour scales, it boasts an array of glossy, three-dimensional ‘comma’ elements. Alongside, the reshaped bumper, body-coloured flanks and a sleek black strip accentuate its aerodynamic profile.

The redesigned headlights give the New Qashqai a purposeful demeanour, while adaptive high-beam technology offers enhanced visibility in various conditions. Moving to the rear, the lights adopt a refined composition with individual elements.

Complementing these design tweaks are a diverse range of alloy wheels, ranging from 18 to 20 inches. Last but certainly not least, the addition of three new captivating colours to its palette, including Pearl White, Pearl Black and Deep Ocean, ensures that the Qashqai’s new design language will invite admiration wherever it roams.

The N-Design trim joins its Qashqai stablemates, adding extra flair with bold aesthetic touches, body-coloured wheel arches and unique, all-new 20-inch alloy wheels.

e-POWER reigns supreme

The aim of the New Qashqai was to target areas of improvement, and so it’s a powerful statement that the e-POWER unique electrified powertrain remains untouched. As soon as you test drive a Nissan Qashqai, you’ll be struck by the smooth, quiet and efficient driving experience. e-POWER has proved popular with customers since its launch in 2022, as it combines responsiveness and refinement with efficiency, with no compromise on driving pleasure or the need to plug in.

Take your seat

Enhanced seat trims grace the upper grades, with the range-topping Qashqai featuring black partially quilted premium leather, exuding opulence. The N-Design grade boasts black leather with quilting and Alcantara inserts, adorned with an embossed ‘Qashqai’ wordmark for a personalised touch.

For the N-Design and Tekna+ trims, the application of Alcantara adorns various surfaces, from the dashboard to the door inserts, amplifying the onboard ambience. In further tribute to Japanese craftsmanship, intricate patterns embellish the centre console and decorative inserts.

Moreover, technological advancements abound in the updated Qashqai, epitomising Nissan’s commitment to innovation – from the next-generation around view monitor providing enhanced visibility to the incorporation of Google built-in for seamless digital integration.

The suite of driver assistance systems also receives significant upgrades. Features like the autonomous emergency braking and intelligent speed assistance systems have been recalibrated to enhance risk detection and adherence to speed limits, ensuring safer journeys for all.
