Businesses could be entitled to a grant up to £10,000 courtesy of Surrey County Council in aid of their new Electric Towns and Cities Initiative!

As part of the initiative, business users who drive a diesel powered commercial vehicle regularly through a section of the A3 road in Guildford (between the A31 junction to Farnham and Guildford’s Woolbridge Hill) can claim £5,000 towards a small electric vehicle or a huge £10,000 towards a medium/large electric light commercial vehicle!

What’s more, the grant can be used alongside finance, lease or cash purchases on the remainder of the vehicle’s cost, making your new van closer than ever before!

Is your business eligible? Find out below:

• You must be a registered business or charity in the UK and have been trading continuously for 2 years.

• You must not be in administration, insolvent or declared bankrupt.

• You must have received less than £315,000 in subsidy from any area of the UK government within the last 3 years.
