Wessex Volleyball has a new sponsor as it begins a new season of competition with Hendy Vauxhall pledging its support for the club, which was set up in 1976.
As part of the sponsorship, the club’s Wessex Women 2nd Team is now called Wessex Hendy Vauxhall with the players sporting the Hendy logo for the next 12 months.
The team plays in the South West League Division 1 with games at their home ground of Parkstone Grammar School together with triple header matches in Plymouth, Bath, and Weymouth.
Mark Busby, director - commercial operations at Hendy Group said the club’s commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive environment in which people of all ages was key to Hendy’s support.
“We’re always keen to be involved with organisations which offer this kind of experience and this is a timely opportunity to spread the word that Hendy is now the name for Vauxhall in the area,” said Mark.
“We look forward to following the progress of the club and Wessex Hendy Vauxhall as the new season gets underway.”
