Vehicle cleanliness has always been important to us at Hendy Group; however, we have now revised our procedures in line with current government guidance. Each hire car is sanitised after use, and all vehicle preparations will be carried out in a safe and responsible manner with social distancing, vehicle sanitisation and PPE.

What are Hendy GO's operation hours?

Where possible, we are operating 'normal' working hours; however, please check the individual Hendy location pages for the most up-to-date hours and contact details.

What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?

The minimum age to hire a vehicle with Hendy Go is 23, however for anyone aged 23 or 24 you must have held a full UK Driving Licence for at least 2 years. This may be higher depending on the vehicle selected.

How quickly can I rent a vehicle with Hendy GO?

A vehicle cannot be booked with less than 48 hours' notice. This is due to the passing of certain customer validation checks using your Driving Licence and Passport information. It should also be noted that a vehicle can only be collected and returned within the opening hours of your selected Hendy Go rental location.

Can I walk into a Hendy GO dealership and rent a vehicle?

Yes you can, if the rental location has vehicles available, however this may not be the case and therefore we recommend booking a vehicle via the Hendy Go website to ensure a vehicle will be made available to you.

Can I Amends my booking?

Within your account you can change the rental period, the vehicle, add additional drivers and add a vehicle drop-off or collection service. If any of these options require a change in the price, then you will be charged accordingly at the end of the booking amendment procedure. If you are due a refund this will be issued by the Karzoom Team subject to Terms and Conditions.

How can I pay for my rental vehicle?

We only accept credit cards for payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express via our payments partner, Stripe.

What do I need in order to collect my rental vehicle?

Please bring the following documents with you:

  • • UK Driving Licence

  • • Booking confirmation email - printed or on a phone

  • • Credit Card that you made the booking with

What happens if I exceed my drop off time?

If you are late returning the vehicle by more than 30 minutes, you will be charged for another day's rental on a day rate basis including any additional charges that are applicable.

What is my mileage limit?

You have a maximum of 250 miles per day for rental periods of less than 7 days. For rental periods of 7 days or more, other mileage limits will apply; these will be detailed at the time of your booking.

What level of insurance am I covered for?

All vehicles are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy. Further details of this cover are provided in the booking terms and conditions.

What happens if I have an accident while driving my rental vehicle?

If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident then please call the rental location immediately to report the accident. They will talk you through the next steps, including completing an Insurance Claim Form.
