The world's original luxury SUV now comes with a choice of electric power. Whether you want the fully electric Range Rover Electric or the flexibility of an Electric Hybrid, every model keeps the comfort, craftsmanship and capability Range Rover is known for.
Range Rover offers two types of electrified vehicles, allowing you to choose one that fits with the way you drive.
The Range Rover Electric runs purely on battery power with no petrol engine at all. It offers the longest electric range in the line-up and zero tailpipe and CO2 emissions on every journey. Available in the Sport Electric model too, these vehicles are ideal if you can charge at home and want to leave fuel stations behind.
Available on Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque. These plug-in hybrids combine a battery with a petrol engine, using electric power for shorter trips and petrol for longer journeys. The car switches between the two automatically by default to give you the power you need.

Take a look at Range Rover's Electric and Hybrid range.
Every electrified Range Rover can be plugged in and driven on electric power, up to 372 miles* in the Range Rover Electric and up to 76 miles* in the Electric Hybrids.
At Home. Most owners charge overnight, scheduled for off-peak hours. The Range Rover Electric charges from empty to full in around 7 hours on a 22 kW home charger*.
On the Go. On a 350 kW rapid charger, the Range Rover Electric adds up to 136 miles in 10 minutes*. Owners can also use Tesla Superchargers to charge their Electric Range Rover.
Weather, speed and towing all affect real-world range. In a hybrid, use EV mode for shorter trips. In the Range Rover Electric, ThermAssist cuts cabin heating energy by 40%.
On battery power, every electrified Range Rover moves in near silence. The Range Rover Electric goes furthest as the quietest Range Rover ever made.
Near-silent travel. Extra insulation, acoustic glass and optional Active Noise Cancellation keep the Range Rover Electric cabin remarkably peaceful.
Cleaner cabin air. Cabin Air Purification Pro filters fine particles and helps reduce odours, bacteria and allergens.
Tested in extremes. From -40°C in the Arctic to the heat of the desert, the Range Rover Electric stays refined in any conditions.
Going electric doesn't mean giving up the Range Rover capability the vehicles are known for. The Range Rover Electric can climb steeper and wade deeper than any other electric luxury SUV in its class*.
Towing and wading. The Range Rover Electric tows up to 2,500 kg, and the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Electric Hybrid up to 3,000 kg. All three can wade through up to 900 mm of water.
Instant power. Range Rover Electric's twin motors deliver up to 850 Nm of torque*, with single-pedal driving that works with Terrain Response on any surface.
Towing and off-roading will reduce electric range.
Every electrified Range Rover has a battery built to last, backed by a battery warranty.
Warranty. The Range Rover Electric's battery is covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first*.
Built to last. Liquid cooling and a built-in buffer protect the battery from the wear of regular charging, and batteries are recycled responsibly at the end of their life.
Choosing an Electric or Electric Hybrid Range Rover is an easy way to cut the emissions of your everyday driving. It is also part of a bigger commitment: JLR, the company behind Range Rover, aims to reach net zero carbon emissions across its whole business by 2039, from its supply chain to its factories. They are exploring ways to reimagine sustainable luxury.
Put electric first and even a few simple habits can make an even bigger difference:

A home charger is the easiest way to keep your car topped up overnight. The Range Rover Electric has an optional second charging port, so you can plug in from either side.
Yes. For the Range Rover Electric, the Range Rover app lets you check your battery level, schedule charging for off-peak hours and find available charge points, then send the route to the car's navigation.
The Range Rover Electric runs on battery power alone. Electric Hybrid models combine a battery with a petrol engine, so you can drive on electric power for shorter trips and use petrol for longer journeys.
It depends on the model. The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Electric Hybrid offer up to 75 and 76 miles respectively (WLTP)*, while the Velar and Evoque offer up to 39 and 38 miles.
Yes, up to 2,500 kg. Towing will reduce your electric range, and towing range prediction helps you plan ahead.
The Range Rover Electric battery is covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first*.
Range Rover batteries are designed for the long term. Liquid cooling and a built-in buffer protect them from the wear of regular charging, and on the Range Rover Electric, Digital Twin technology monitors battery health remotely.
Range Rover Electric owners can access a wide public charging network, including Tesla Superchargers. You can find available chargers in real time through the Range Rover app or the car's navigation.
