Hendy Group has signed a key aftersales contract after appointing Shell Lubricants as its oil supplier for its car and commercial business.

Shell was awarded the two-year contract following a competitive tender with the contract worth around £1 million a year.

As part of the new agreement, Shell lubricants will be used across the group which represents more than 20 brands in 82 locations across the south and south west and a turnover in excess of £1 billion.

“After a rigorous selection process, we were impressed by the proposition from Shell which focuses on quality products for our customers alongside a strong focus on a sustainable future,” said Hendy director – Service & Bodyshop, Pete Walker.

“Shell is the number one global lubricant supplier and a trusted brand,” he added. “Shell can offer us a more sustainable future and products that look after your vehicle and help reduce emissions.”

He said that by offering Shell products throughout the business Hendy can offer customers a brand committed to improving fuel economy. “This all helps our customers contribute to sustainability through the reduced use of oil and improved emissions,” added Pete.

Patzy Drozdz, Key Account Manager from Shell says the company is delighted to have signed a strategic and long-term alliance with Hendy.

“We are looking forward to working with Hendy to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions for the group and offer continuous improvement in our products and services,” she said. “The focus is on building strong relationships and delivering value.”
