Lotus owners are known as some of the most passionate driving enthusiasts in the world - and it's little wonder! This iconic brand is devoted to lovers of pure driving, and combines the very best of British craftsmanship with sublime handling and distinctive design. And, since Hendy Performance has a reputation for some of the best Sunday morning car meets on the South Coast, we were thrilled to host our first ever Lotus owners' event on the late May bank holiday weekend.
Following a rainy month, we were relieved to see blue skies and the sun beating down on the amazing turnout of 55 Lotus owners in attendance, as they showed off their pride-and-joys to like-minded enthusiasts. We were joined by Lotus UK, who brought their latest car covers for the Elise, Exige and Evora range, which we raffled away to a lucky driver, who had a chance to win an interior or exterior cover for their vehicle.
Not ones to miss out on the opportunity to see the latest sports cars, the Hendy Performance teams from Poole and Exeter were out in force - supporting with any questions and having a coffee and (socially distanced) natter with the drivers. The Hendy Lotus showroom was open to browse our Lotus stock, which showcases the very best of British craftsmanship.
