We’re starting 2024 with news of a new partnership between Hendy Group and the West Hants Club in Bournemouth.

As part of this partnership, Hendy Group has supplied West Hants with a vehicle to transport talented elite junior tennis players who will be competing in national tournaments around the country.

The club has a rich history in the tennis world and is now one of the few Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) regional player development centres in the UK.

Hendy Group commercial director, Mark Busby said this partnership demonstrates the group’s commitment to supporting the local community and its sporting stars of the future.

“Dorset is an important area for Hendy Group and we’re delighted to be showcasing our portfolio to a wider audience and helping support talented young players. We’ll be following their progress this year with great interest.”

Peter Elviss, chief executive of West Hants Club says, "We are delighted to welcome the Hendy Group and we look forward to developing a strong relationship with the group. Partnerships like this provide valuable support to these rising stars who may not normally have access to sporting opportunities.

“The West Hants Club's business partnership scheme was created for local businesses who wish to support sport in the community, with an emphasis on nurturing junior tennis development. This support is invaluable and has contributed to the increasing success of our juniors – the end of 2023 saw some of our juniors win the prestigious National School Championships.”

Although best known for its tennis facilities, the club also offers sports, fitness, and relaxation facilities and welcomes families and individual members.
