Hendy Group brings BYD to Christchurch

Growing interest in the latest range of plug-in cars from BYD has prompted the Hendy Group to open its second BYD showroom and bring the ‘nation’s fastest-growing brand’ to Christchurch. The refreshed dealership will open its doors on 4 August, showcasing BYD’s full UK electric vehicle (EV) range alongside its best-selling plug-in hybrid (PHEV), the SEAL U DM-I.

Visitors to the site on Stony Lane will be able to test drive models from the UK BYD line-up, ranging from its smallest city car, the BYD Dolphin Surf designed for nipping about in traffic, to its premium electric saloon, the award-winning BYD Seal.

Alongside the sale of new and used BYD models, the Christchurch facility will offer comprehensive aftersales services from its revamped two-bay workshop, providing service, maintenance and MOT facilities to local drivers, regardless of what brand they drive. For added convenience, two electric vehicle charging points are available for customers to use while on site.
