Entertainment for the whole family is on the agenda for the 2023 Hendy Performance Open Day at Thruxton this year.
The popular motoring event is due to be held on Sunday June 25th at the Thruxton Race Circuit with entertainment set to include the high-octane motoring attractions which have made the event so popular and, new for 2023, dedicated kids’ zones with activities for all ages.
Entry to the action-packed day is free and organisers have plenty of entertainment planned which include the high-octane attractions on the track, the Hendy Group Motor Show, hundreds of performance cars on display, trade stands, live music, and guest speakers on the main stage.
In addition to fans’ own cars on display there will be the very latest performance models from a wide range of manufactures including Maserati and Lotus, special guests including Aron Taylor-Smith, James Hedley and Tiff Needell.
2023 will also see the return of stunt driver Paul Swift who will once again be providing breathtaking live performances to entertain the crowds with his precision driving.
The kids’ zones will offer plenty to entertain children of all ages and will include an inflatable village, trampolines, bumper cars, and face painters as the event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
During the day Thruxton will also be operating its skid pan experience and junior driving sessions which can be booked and paid for directly with the circuit.
“Thruxton is the perfect venue to showcase some amazing cars but also to provide some great entertainment for the family,” said Hendy Group chief executive Paul Hendy. “This year we have introduced more family attractions to sit alongside the cars, on-track entertainment and special guests.”
Registration is now open for the free event at https://www.hpopenday.co.uk/ with the option of general parking for all the family at the motor circuit and for performance car drivers to book a space to display their own car.
