Hendy Group has added Geely to its diverse brand portfolio, opening its first dealerships for the Chinese carmaker in Exeter and Eastleigh this month. The move has prompted the creation of new roles within sales and customer service at the two sites, reflecting the group’s continued investment in local employment and its facilities across the south of England.

Hendy Group is marking the site openings with dedicated launch events to introduce customers to the brand and its first model, the Geely EX5. The electric C-segment SUV will be available in three trim levels, beginning with the entry-level SE at £31,990 OTR. The mid-range ‘Pro’ trim adds Goodyear tyres mounted on 19-inch alloys as standard, while the top-spec ‘Max’ benefits from metallic paint, a power tailgate and panoramic sunroof.

Paul Hendy, Chief Executive at Hendy Group, commented: “Geely continues to grow its presence internationally, and we see real potential for its product range in key locations where Hendy has an established presence and a loyal customer base. We’re already engaging with some prospective customers and the response has been really positive, which gives us confidence about helping Geely meet some ambitious growth targets for the UK market.”
