BYD - Time Trials Competition Terms & Conditions

The promoters for this prize draw are Hendy Group Ltd.  

No purchase necessary. This competition is in no way affiliated with Mario Kart, Nintendo or endorsed or administered by Christchurch Food Festival. To enter the competition, entrants must complete a full time trial, submitting a lap time between Saturday 23rd May 2026 and Monday 25th May 2026 inclusive, with the fastest lap time submitted between these dates and by 5:00pm on Monday 25th May 2026 is deemed the winner of the prize. By entering this competition, you agree to complete release of Mario Kart, Nintendo and Christchurch Food Festival from any or all liability in connection with this competition. By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any associated entry requirements. 

 

Entries close at 5pm of 25th of May 2026. The competition winner will be notified by e-mail or phone by midnight of Thursday 28th of May 2026. If the prize remains unclaimed at midnight on the 2nd of June 2026, Hendy Group will deem the second fastest lap time the winner on Wednesday 3rd June 2026. The competition is open to entrants aged 5 and over. Where an entrant is under 18 years of age, entry must include the contact details of a parent, legal guardian, or carer. Any prize notification and subsequent communication will be made only with the named adult. By submitting an entry on behalf of a child under 18, the parent, guardian, or carer confirms that they consent to the child’s participation in the competition and agree to be contacted in relation to the competition administration if the child is selected as a winner. The promoter's decision is final. This competition is open to all UK residents, except employees of Hendy Group, Mario Kart, Nintendo and their affiliated companies, their families, and agencies. 

 

The winner will be selected by the promoter from the lap time entries received once the competition closes. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer, network or software failure which may restrict or delay or failure of entry. 

 

Hendy Group is required to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. By entering this competition, entrants acknowledge that the surname and county of the winner may be published or made available to the public. If the winner objects to their surname and county being published or made available, they must notify the Promoter by writing to marketing@hendy-group.com at the time they are contacted to claim the prize. In such circumstances, Hendy Group must still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. Furthermore, by entering, it is assumed the winner will participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the competition, including photography upon collection of the prize, unless they explicitly opt out of such activity by writing to marketing@hendy-group.com when notified of their win.
